Beyond Jews and Arabs, Israel is home to a wide range of communities—some ancient, some more recent—all of whom contribute to the cultural fabric of the country in ways that often go unnoticed.
This tour offers a chance to meet, learn about, and better understand these diverse groups in their own environments. We visit communities that represent religious, ethnic, and linguistic minorities, each with its own identity, traditions, and stories.
You’ll encounter the Druze, with their unique monotheistic religion and deep integration into Israeli society; the Circassians, Muslim immigrants from the Caucasus who maintain a distinct language and military tradition; and the Samaritans, a tiny group that still practices a religion closely related to ancient Israelite customs on Mount Gerizim.
We explore Baháʼí sacred spaces in Haifa and Akko, learning about a global faith rooted in the Middle East. We meet members of the Ethiopian Jewish community, whose migration to Israel brought both ancient traditions and contemporary challenges. Depending on location and access, we may also engage with Christian Arab communities, Alawites in the north, Bedouin towns in the Negev, and Afro-Palestinian families in East Jerusalem.
it’s an experience that highlights the beauty of coexistence and the richness of our shared heritage. Discover the heart of Israel through the eyes of its people.
